About
I'm a people person. I love being surrounded by stories, by sharing, by life itself. I'm a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend and psychologist. I see Psychology as a privileged and safe space to accompany people through their life journey, especially during the various moments of crisis that demand adaptation. I believe that everyone benefits from sharing and reflection, which promotes personal growth and balance. Psychological health should be cared for just as much as physical health. For me, going to a psychologist is like going to the gym: we dedicate time to ourselves, we take care of ourselves and we have someone to guide us through the process, with a view to our balance and wellbeing. I graduated in Clinical Psychology from FPCEUCoimbra in 2002 and completed a Master's degree in Psychology of Pregnancy and Parenthood at ISPA. I am a full member of the OPP (Portuguese Psychologists' Association) with registration 5069, specialising in Clinical and Health Psychology. I later completed Advanced Specialisation in Psychological Coaching and Advanced Specialisation in Clinical and Educational Intervention with Children and Adolescents at CRIAP. My professional path began as a trainer in the behavioural field and later at Fundação Pão de Açúcar-Auchan, where I worked as a clinical psychologist within a multidisciplinary team for 16 years. At the same time, I began working at the MEO ACS clinical centre, where I continue to work today. Since 2020, I have invested more in private practice, offering in-person and online sessions at the clinic.
